There has been a recent upsurge in the theft of number plates in the Stoke-on-Trent area, particularly involving the Ford Focus and Vauxhall Vectra models of car.

In order to protect yourself from falling victim to thieves, there are a number of safety precautions you can take. 

These involve:

• Replacing standard screws with special Anti-Tamper screws.
• Use Strong Adhesive Pads alongside screws to further secure the plate.

• Installing Locking Plate Frames, ensuring not to obscure any of the letters or numbers on the plate.
