|
A cocaine dealer who stashed wads of cash inside safes in a shed in Rugeley has been jailed.
Robert Studzinski, 44, of Rugeley, has been sentenced to two-years-and-nine-months behind bars after he admitted possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A – cocaine and possession of criminal property.
In September last year, officers from our major and organised crime proactive team spotted a drug deal take place in the town involving the driver of a BMW.
Officers followed the driver of the BMW back to a house. That driver was Studzinski.
He was arrested and searched. Officers found 12 snap bags of cocaine on him, along with two mobile phones and £30 in cash.
When we searched the home, we found two safes with cash inside. The total amount of cash found totalled £5,545. More cocaine was also found during the search, worth an estimated street value of £4,500.
