SCAM - WINTER FUEL PAYMENTS

Between April and September 2025, Action Fraud received almost 3,000 reports of scams related to Winter Fuel Payments, with victims losing over £27,000. 

Winter Fuel Payments are made automatically. You do not need to apply, click any links, or provide any personal details. If you receive a text message, email, or call about Winter Fuel Payments, it’s a scam.
