VEHICLE SEIZED ON A5

On 14/09/2025 officers were alerted to a black Vauxhall Astra whilst driving along the A5 towards Stonydelph/Wilnecote.

The vehicle was stopped and checks revealed the vehicle was being driven without insurance.

Checks on the driver showed that they only had a provisional licence.

The vehicle was seized for no insurance and the 40 year old male driver, from Leicester, was dealt with accordingly for documents offences.
