Staffordshire Police have seen an increase in reports of theft of Motorcycles in the last few weeks, with there being three reports for the Codsall/Bilbrook Area. Offenders are arriving on motorcycles without licence plates, normally wearing helmets and tracksuits and stealing Motorcycles before leaving the area, there is potential that these offenders are now bypassing the manufacturer immobilisers or hot wiring the Motorcycles to steal them in less than a few minutes. 

Due to the increase in reports, we are urging owners to ensure their Motorcycles are locked and secured properly, including disc locks, chains and covers where possible.
