Our local safety partner, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, are currently recruiting on-call firefighters for Gnosall Community Fire Station.

We’re helping them to spread the word in the local community, so if you know someone who might be interested in the role we’d appreciate your help to pass this on.

To explain the role, on-call firefighters live or work near to the station and are paid to respond to incidents from home or work instead of being based at the station. 

They receive the same training and attend the same types of incidents as full-time firefighters, but can work their hours flexibly around other jobs, childcare and hobbies by providing a number of on-call hours every week.
