MAN CHARGED FOLLOWING INCIDENT IN CANNOCK


A man has been arrested and charged after another man suffered a serious injury to his neck in Cannock. 

 

Robert Grainger, 41, of Wolverhampton, has been charged with wounding with intent. 

 

It comes after a man suffered a serious injury to his neck after being attacked on Longford Road on Tuesday 29 April. 

 

The injured man was taken to hospital and remains in a critical but stable condition. 

 

Grainger first appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre yesterday (Monday 5 May) and has been remanded ahead of his next appearance due at Stafford Crown Court on 2 June.
