At approx 2345hrs on Sat 26th April, police were on patrol in Wombourne and came across a suspicious vehicle. On turning around to speak to occupants, they had made off. Officers then visited the keeper of the who was from Pattingham, who had unknowingly had his Ford Transit tipper van stolen off his driveway.

Please review your own vehicle and household security. Steering wheel locks are a good visible deterrent, as are motion sensor cameras and security lights.
