We are appealing for information after a woman had her purse stolen while shopping in a supermarket in #Tamworth. 

We were called at 3.30pm on Wednesday 26 February to the Aldi store on Glascote Road. 

The victim said she realised her purse had been taken while she was shopping in store at around 2pm. 

The purse contained around £70 in cash and a gift card. 

We are currently investigating and have obtained CCTV footage from the supermarket of an individual we would like to speak to in connection with the theft.
