APPEAL FOLLOWING FATAL COLLISION IN NORTON CANES


We are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist sadly died in a collision near Norton Canes yesterday (Saturday 29 March).

 

The collision, involving a Suzuki motorcycle and a BMW X5, happened on the A5 Watling Street at around 12.40pm.

 

Colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service and Midlands Air Ambulance attended.

 

Sadly, nothing could be done to save the motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

Specialist officers are supporting his family at this difficult time.

 

An investigation is underway by officers from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) and anyone with information is asked to get in touch.
