1. Never share your PIN with anyone-the only times you should use your PIN is at a cash machine or in a shop.

2. Ensure that you are the only person that knows your PIN. 

3. Your bank will never ask you to authorise anything by entering your PIN into the telephone.

4. Be aware of who is around you you when you are paying with your card at the till. Always try and cover your card when entering your PIN.

5. Never write your PIN on the back of your card or keep a written copy of your PIN in your purse or wallet.
