There has been a recent increase in bicycle thefts across #Tamworth. In the past few days a black & blue Yoclez electric-assisted bike was stolen from Hayle, Belgrave, a green & turquoise Trek mountain bike was stolen from Boundary Drive, Amington and a khaki Rockrider taken from Asda. In light of this recent increase, we will be conducting a FREE bike marking & registering event in the Castle Grounds on Sunday 2nd March between 2pm - 4pm. You MUST bring your bike with you to the event so it can be marked & registered on to the @bikeregister online database. Registering your bike helps police & retailers identify and verify the legitimate owner of bikes that have been stolen or are being resold. It can lead to both victims being reunited with their property and the identification of offenders. For more information on Bike Register: www.bikeregister.com If you have any information as to who may be responsible for bicycle thefts in Tamworth please contact us on 101 or via the online form or Live Chat at www.staffordshire.police.uk * Sunday 2nd March
