Firstly, a big welcome to everyone who has ‘signed up’ recently. Thank you to you all in helping to make this system a success and I really do feel that by working together we will make Trentham & Hanford safer and help to make residents feel more reassured. 

Crime updates - We have received a report that approximately one week ago an E-Bike has been stolen from a garden in Newington Gr. I am aware of a bicycle that was recently found in the Trentham area, but unfortunately this was a different bike. If you do own a bicycle, please ensure it is secured away and out of sight. If you do have any information which may help our enquiries, please call 101 quoting serial 558 of 23/02/2025, thank you. 

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) update - We have recently received reports of motorbikes being used along the canal in the evening between 20.00 -22:00. I will therefore be increasing my patrols of the canal. My first evening patrol was completed last night and I will continue these moving forward. 

Defibrillator locations. 

On 21/02/2025 I completed my refresher First Aid course, where as part of the course we are shown how to use defibrillators.

Defibrillators are a fantastic, life saving piece of equipment. We have a number of defibrillators located across Trentham & Hanford, and I wanted to ensure you all know where they are. 

There is soon to be another defibrillator installed on Burrington Dr and once it is installed I will let you know where it is.

As a local officer for the Trentham & Hanford area I believe it is crucial that residents have their say on where we patrol and what issues they would like us to address. I was requested to increase patrols of….

                                                                                                Hanford Park

and Eastwick Crescent due to vehicles parking too close to the junction causing visibility issues. 

During patrols of these locations, I am happy to report that I encountered no issues, however I will continue to keep an eye on these locations. As always, on any message, if you would like any location to have increased patrols, please let me know. 

Staffordshire Smart Alert 'Sign Up's
