This evening, 19/02/2025 residents in the Windmill Drive area of Marchington, returned home from a weeks holiday to find their home had been burgled. Offenders entered the property at the rear of the house. initial enquiries have lead us to believe that the offence may have occurred in the early evening of the 12/02/2025, around 630 - 800pm onwards. There is a field at the back of the property so offenders probably gained access to the grounds via this field, however they may have gone down the side alley of the house to gain access. Our forensics and investigators will be attending shortly. Do you have CCTV, ring doorbell in Windmill Drive ? Did you see or hear anything, possibly in the early evening of the 12th February ? We will work hard at Staffordshire Police to gather information that will lead to an arrest of any offender(s). As all burglaries, its extremely unsettling for the victims of such crimes, and we will endeavour to bring this to a successful conclusion.
