#ARREST
At around 01:50 this morning (30/12/24) we received a report of a male trying car door handles in Layton Close, Dosthill. We attended within minutes and began an area search for the offender.

A male matching the description was soon located on Ninian Way and he tried to evade officers. After a brief game of hide & seek the male was relocated by PD Tono before being detained by officers.

The 32 year old male, from Tamworth, was arrested for vehicle interference. He was also wanted on recall to prison.

He remains in custody at that this time.
