With Halloween creeping up, we wanted to share some safety advice for parents, carers and guardians to ensure your lilβ ghouls have a fang-tastic time:
π» Advise them to stay in well-lit, public areas β avoid short cuts through gardens, alleyways and parks
π» Encourage them to have bright costumes or wear reflective strips so they can be seen by drivers when crossing the roads
π» Make sure they stay with a responsible adult and that they only go to houses of people that they know and who are happy for them to visit
π» Remind them to respect βNo trick or treatβ signs
π» Talk to them about anti-social behaviour and that it is not acceptable to scare elderly or vulnerable people, or to throw eggs and flour.
