A drug dealer has been jailed after he admitted supplying heroin and crack cocaine in Tamworth. Steven Loynes, 41, of no fixed address, was sentenced to three years in prison at Stafford Crown Court on Thursday (25 July) after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine at an earlier hearing. On Wednesday 6 March this year, officers from our major and organised crime proactive teams saw Loynes hand over drugs to two men on Ribblesdale, Stoneydelph. When one of the men was stopped and searched on Saxon Drive, he was found to have heroin and crack cocaine on him. Officers then forced entry to a property on Ribblesdale, Stoneydelph. Heroin, cash, a mobile phone and scales were seized during a search of the property and Loynes was arrested. We’re continuing to proactively target serious and organised crime across Staffordshire, as part of Operation Target. | ||||
